Juggling Daisies Rules

Where Creativity Meets Courtesy

  1. Be present. Be playful. Be open. Leave your inner critic at the door. This is a space to experiment and explore. Not every piece will be a masterpiece, but every session is a success if you learn something.
  2. Respect the space. If you spill paint, clean it up. The tables, chairs, and floors aren’t volunteering to be part of your masterpiece. Tidy your station when you are done.
  3. No art-shaming allowed. We’re all on our creative journey. Whether it’s a photorealistic portrait or a stick figure on vacation, all art is valid here.
  4. Supplies are shared, use with care. What you are using today, someone else will use tomorrow, so please take care of them and, if possible, return them in as good a shape as you found them. Paint brushes clean, marker caps on tight. We like to use nice supplies so you can create the most beautiful projects. Help it stay that way, as well as keep costs down.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: “Can we drink and create?”

A: We won’t be asking what’s in your cup. If it helps you loosen up, that is totally fine. Staying respectful to the instructor and classmates is the most important. There will be water, coffee, and tea available during all classes. We will not be selling any alcoholic beverages.

Q: “Can we bring food?”

A: For a private event, absolutely. If it’s during a regular class and you want a snack, feel free to have one. We prefer that you don’t bring fast food etc. You are here to have a fun-filled art experience and that should be the focus.

Q: “Can I bring my own supplies?”

A: Of course you can! We do provide everything that you will need for the projects, with an occasional exception such as – Please bring a shoe box for gift wrapping. It would be something that is an “extra” more than necessary to complete the project.

Q: “What should we wear?”

A: Well, we want you to be comfortable and have the freedom to create. Carefree accidents can happen by either yourself or by the other participants as well. Art leaves a mark that generally will not come out in the wash. We have smocks available if you wish to wear one, but it’s your choice. I would say leave your favorite outfit at home.

Q: “Can I stay while my child creates?”

A: You bet! Especially if you think it will make it the best experience for them and their classmates. If you plan on creating a project along with them, let us know in advance. There would be an additional cost for the supplies.

Q: “What if I book a class and then I can’t make it?”

We will be happy to offer you a credit toward a future class. The sooner you could let us know, the better, as classes often sell out. Then, we can make your space available to someone else.
